How to Transfer Money from Post Bank Account to your Mobile Money

Customers can transfer money from bank to wallet in two ways; use USSD shortcode or Post Bank mobile app.

Use USSD Shortcode

To send money from bank to wallet, follow the steps below;

1. Dial *163#/ *263# and press the OK button (use registered phone number).

2. Enter your Mobile banking pin.

3. Select a number that corresponds to Mobile Wallet Transfers.

4. Choose Bank to Wallet transfers.

5. Select the telecom provider company you want to send the money through (MTN or Aitel).

6. Opt to either send money to your own number or another number.

7. If you have chosen another number, you will be prompted to enter the recipient’s number.

8. Enter the amount you want to transfer.

9. Select the account that you want to withdraw funds from.

10. Confirm withdrawal with mobile banking pin.

Use Post Bank Mobile App

This method will show you how to withdraw money from a bank account to a mobile wallet via the Post Bank Uganda App. Download and install the Post Bank app on your device. The app is available on App Store and Play Store.

1. Open the Post Bank Uganda App on your device.

2. Click on Login.

3. Enter log-in details.

4. Tap on the Mobile Money Wallet option.

5. Click Bank to wallet transfers.

6. Select the telecom provider company you want to send the money through (MTN or Aitel).

7. Opt to either send money to your own number or another number.

8. If you have chosen another number, you will be prompted to enter the recipient’s number.

9. Enter the amount you want to transfer.

10. Select the account that you want to withdraw funds from.

11. Confirm withdrawal with mobile banking pin.
