How to Transfer Money from Exim Bank Account to your Mobile Money
There are two different methods that can help you transfer money from bank to wallet; method 1: the customer can use the Exim bank Uganda mobile app, method 2: the customer can use the USSD short code (*298#). Whichever method you choose, you should have registered for Exim mobile banking services to complete the task.
Use Exim Uganda Mobile App
This method will require the account holder to download and install the Exim bank Uganda mobile app on their device. The app is available on Google Play Store for Androids and App Store for IOS. After successful download, follow the steps below to transfer money from bank to wallet.
Lanch the Exim Mobile app on your device.
Log in with your username and mobile banking pin.
Click on Transfers then select Bank to a wallet or Mobile Money.
Choose the telecom company you want to send money through (MTN/Airtel).
Select to send money to your number or another number (enter recipient’s number) or select from the beneficiary list.
Enter the amount you want to transfer.
Select the account you want to withdraw money from.
Confirm transaction with mobile banking pin then click OK.

Use USSD Shortcode
This is an alternative method for individuals who have feature phones or smartphones and they do not prefer to download the app on their device. To get started, launch the dialer then follow the prompts as described below;
1. Dial *298# and press the Send button.
2. Enter the mobile banking pin as prompted.
3. Select the option that corresponds to Transfers.
4. Choose Bank to wallet / Mobile Money transfers.
5. Select to send money to your number or another number (enter recipient’s number) or select from the beneficiary list.
6. Enter the amount you want to transfer.
7. Select the account you want to withdraw money from.
8. Confirm transaction with mobile banking pin then click OK.
