Which Devices Support the Focus Feature?

Apple’s Focus functionality can be accessed on various devices such as iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, and macOS, as long as they fulfill the specified minimum software version criteria outlined below:

  • For iPhone users, the device must be running on iOS 15 or a more recent version.
  • For iPad users, the device must be equipped with iPadOS 15 or a more recent version.
  • Apple Watch users need to have watchOS 8 or a more recent version installed on their device. Mac users must have macOS Monterey 12 or a newer version installed on their computer.

In the event that your device is operating on an older software version, you will still have access to the Do Not Disturb feature through the Settings application.

  4. Enable the Share across devices toggle.

Quick Note: Syncing of Focus filters, which dictate the displayed information from an app, is not available across devices and is exclusive to the device you are currently using.
