How to Pay Utilities using Standard Chartered Mobile Banking
The SC account holder can either use the SC Mobile App or use the USSD shortcode to pay utilities via the Standard Chartered mobile banking wallet.
Use SC App
This method will require customers to download SC Mobile App from Google Play Store for Androids and App Store for IOS then follow through with the steps listed below.
1. Log in to your SC Mobile app
2. Click Payments under the main menu bar.
3. Tap on Add Biller under the payments icon
4. Then select the Biller type you would like to pay a bill for from the drop-down menu. That is Airtime, Mobile Money and Utility e.g Yaka, NWSC, DSTV/GOTV/Startimes.
5. Enter account number or recipient’s number or meter number as prompted depending on biller choice.
6. Key in the amount that you want to pay.
7. Select the account you want to use for this transaction.
8. Enter the pin to confirm the transaction.

Use USSD Shortcode
If you do not want to download the app or if you have a feature phone, this method will still help you to pay utilities. Launch the dialer then follow the prompts as listed below.
1. Dial *266# and press the send button.
2. Enter SC Mobile pin.
3. Then select a number that corresponds to Add Biller.
4. Choose Biller type as Utility.
5. Select the Utility service provider that you want to pay for (Water, UMEME, DSTV, GOTV, Startimes).
6. Enter account number or meter number as prompted depending on biller choice.
7. Key in the amount that you want to pay.
8. Select the account you want to use for this transaction.
9. Enter pin to confirm the transaction.
