MTN Uganda revamped their Freedom bundle packages in March this year into bigger volumes and multiple packages. MTN Freedom bundles are commonly explained as the data bundle package that does not expire. In simple terms, the data volume is limited but the time usage is unlimited. So, the MTN subscriber has the freedom to use this particular data package without validity worry.
At UGX100 you get 6MB, then 80MBs for UGX1,000, 1GB for UGX5,000, 4GB for UGX15,000, 7GB for UGX25,000, 15GB for UGX50,000 and 40GB for UGX100,000. However much the Freedom data bundle takes forever, if the data volume is used up, the user will need to load more bundles. Here is how you can load MTN Freedom bundles.

How to Activate MTN Freedom Bundles
Here is how you can load bundles that cannot expire;
- Launch the phone app on your phone.
- Dial *160# then Ok.
- Select option 2, Bundles.
- Opt for option2, Mobile Internet.
- Select Buy a Bundle, option 1.
- Choose option 5 which is Freedom Bundles.
- Then choose Freedom Bundle package.
- Enter payment method option. You can pay using Airtime or Mobile Money.
- Approve Freedom Bundle purchase with your MTN MoMo pin.
How to Check MTN Freedom Bundles Balance.
This is how you can check MTN Freedom bundle balance;
- Open the phone app on your device.
- Dial *131*4# then ok.
- Your Freedom bundle balance will immediately appear on your phone screen.
