Airtel Magic Voice provides a fun platform that enables Airtel customers to change their voices with many options available. You can change your normal voice to the voice of a Cartoon character, a Female, a King, or a Grandpa. Airtel’s Magic Voice also comes with background features of Traffic, Romance, or an Airport ambiance.

How to Activate Airtel Magic Voice
Step 1: Simply dial 176 followed by the number you wish to call.
Step 2: Go ahead and select your desired voice. There are a variety of voice options to choose from for instance Voice of a Cartoon character, a Female, a King, or a Grandpa. There are other extensive features to explore; you can set the ambiance of your call with Airtel’s Magic Voice background features like Traffic, Romance, or an Airport ambiance.
Step 3: Wait for the phone to ring until the recipient receives the call. Start your conversation. As you speak, your ordinary voice will be transformed into the selected character on the receiver’s end. Since Magic Voice is a subscription-based service, subscribers pay UGX 850 weekly, at some point you might need to deactivate Airtel Magic Voice on your device. To unsubscribe from the service, simply send an SMS “UNSUB” to 176 or Stop to 176.

Editorial Update: Is Airtel Magic Voice Feature Still Available?
I tried out the Airtel Magic Voice feature, but unfortunately, things did not go as planned. I correctly dialed 176 followed by the recipient’s number. As I was excited to follow the prompts and prank my buddy, a computerized voice on the other end informed me that “The number you are calling has been changed.” I thought I had errored in my dialing process, so I had to redo it carefully. Same thing same results.
I reached out to Airtel’s customer care agent to have a thorough insight into why the feature is not functioning on my phone. The customer care specialist informed me that the Magic Voice feature was scrapped by Airtel Uganda. The information on regards to the Magic Voice feature was also unpublished from the Airtel Uganda website.
